Welcome to JCarlos Music Studio

At JCarlos Music Studio in Fair Oaks, CA, I bring over 20 years of saxophone experience and 10 years of professional music teaching experience to help students of all ages grow as musicians. I offer saxophone lessons, clarinet lessons, and flute lessons through private, group, and online music lessons. Students can choose from 30-minute, 45-minute, or 1-hour lessons.

With a master’s degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of the Arts in Helsinki, I help students learn to play woodwind instruments, perform in ensembles or bands, read and compose music, and develop better listening skills through ear training. My programs are age-appropriate and designed for beginners to advanced levels. I also provide ensemble coaching, music theory lessons, and school band coaching, with flexible virtual or hybrid setups via Zoom. Every lesson builds confidence, skill, and a lifelong love of music.
